A: A typical Avéli procedure will take around an hour, including local anesthesia and the procedure itself. Exact timing will vary depending on your personalized procedure plan from Dr. Marjanovic.
A: Little to none. In the clinical study, most patients returned to normal activities within 24-48 hours.
A: In the clinical study, the most common side effects reported were mild pain within the first 24 hours and bruising and tenderness to the touch which typically resolved within 30 days. Small areas of firmness, usually not visible or painful, typically resolved in a couple of months.
A: It is recommended to avoid any strenuous activities or workouts in the first few days/weeks after the procedure to allow the area to heal.

Specializing in both surgical and non-surgical facial, breast, and body cosmetic as well as reconstructive surgery, Dr. Marjanovic works with patients to craft a customized, realistic aesthetic surgical plan addressing their unique concerns. Dr. Marjanovic brings more than a decade of Plastic Surgery experience to our Paulding County community.
Prior to joining MetroDerm, Dr. Marjanovic was an Attending Plastic Surgeon at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Marjanovic attended The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. His Plastic Surgery residency was completed at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident. He went onto complete a highly coveted aesthetic fellowship with MetroDerm’s internationally acclaimed Plastic Surgeons, Drs. Foad and Farzad R. Nahai shortly thereafter.
When not working with his patients in Hiram, Dr. Marjanovic is a busy father to Alex and Caroline, and husband to his lovely wife Alison. He enjoys watching college football, following the Pittsburgh Steelers and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
